Summer School 2018

Hamilton High School will offer classes in English, Math, Social Studies and Science.  For a complete list of classes, please open the attachment above and review the second page.  Summer school is open to any currently enrolled high school student in LAUSD.  Music Academy and Humanities Magnet students who currently receive transportation will NOT receive transportation during summer school and may wish to consider asking their counselor to enroll them in summer school at the high school closest to home.

Daily attendance is required in order to pass classes and earn credits.  Students may take up to two classes in required English, Math, Science and Social Studies courses. Parents can print out the summer school interest sheet above. Please submit requests to your student's Academic Counselor


Eligibility and priority order for student enrollment to meet graduation requirements is as follows:

  1. 11th grade students (class of 2019) who received a D or F in English, Math, Science, or Social Studies courses. 
  2. 10th grade students (class of 2020) who received a D or F in English, Math, Science, or Social Studies courses. 
  3. 9th grade students (class of 2021) who received a D or F in English, Math, or Science courses.
