Caminos Al Futuro - George Washington University Summer Program

Caminos al Futuro is a full scholarship residential summer program that engages qualified juniors (class of 2018) in academic leadership development. Selected candidates will demonstrate outstanding academic scholarship and a commitment to service and leadership within Hispanic or  Latino communities. All selected students will receive a full scholarship that covers roundtrip transportation to Washington DC, and the cost of attendance. 

 

Through academic discourse, meetings with leaders and policy makers, service learning, and site visits around Washington, D.C., participants will develop an applied understanding of critical issues facing Hispanic and Latinx communities as they prepare for their roles as future leaders.

 

Program dates: July 2 - 21, 2017
