The Community Internship Program is an innovative program in the Los Angeles Jewish community that combines paid internships in dynamic and impactful Jewish non-profit organizations with workshops that develop professional real-world skills and mentorship from Jewish adult role models. Interns will work full-time (9:00am-4:00pm) Monday-Thursday and will earn $12 an hour for their time
in the workplace and in trainings. Interns will spend Fridays (9:00am-2:00pm) together as a group to develop real world skills, engage in team-building activities, Jewish learning and self-reflection. The
Friday trainings will focus on areas that teens themselves said they were most interested in working on: resume writing, public speaking, interview skills, etc. The program will culminate in a commencement
celebration for interns, families, friends and Jewish community leaders. Program dates are from June 15 - July 14, 2017.
