Summer Programs and Classes?

 

A summer 2013 opportunity for students who are interested in technology-related fields with the internet. Urban TxT is a male student program which provides applicants an opportunity to express themselves through Digital Arts and Computer Programming. Experience Berkeley

It provides Black, Latino & Native American juniors with a 3.5 or higher GPA (class of 2013) the opportunity to get a close, personal look at UC Berkeley.

Students are introduced to college life, given admissions feedback on personal statements, financial aid information, and mentoring throughout the application process during the summer and school year.
  •  100 students selected out of 500 applying, statewide
  • double the normal rate
Many current UC Berkeley students said this was a defining experince in their college application and ultimate selection process.

Applications are due March 12. Students will be notified by May 18.
